Thank you for your interest in AAOMP's 2024
Fellowship Examination. Please complete the application and submit on or before January 8th, 2024. The following
items must accompany the application for it to be considered by the
committee.
- A curriculum vitae.
- Letter
of verification/endorsement from your Program Director (sent
separately). The letter must verify that you are a resident/graduate
student who has satisfactorily completed a minimum of 18 months of
training in an oral and maxillofacial pathology training program
accredited by the American Dental Association or the Canadian Dental
Association and have graduated from an accredited dental school.
- Exam fee of $150.00 payable to AAOMP in U.S. funds (to be sent AFTER an acceptance letter is received).
According
to AAOMP's Bylaws, eligible candidates must...
- be
a graduate of a dental school
- have satisfactorily completed at least
18 months training in an oral and maxillofacial pathology training
program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA,
U.S.) or the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC), and
- be a
member or have been approved for membership in the Academy.
Please note that steps have been taken to provide virtual slides, so microscopes will not be needed.
The
Fellowship Committee will review the applications, and applicants will be contacted in mid-February. Full details on how the exam will be
administered will be sent as soon as the full details are determined.
